Our brake upgrade kit for the complete front axle consists of two-piece DBA 4000 brake discs and high-performance DBA brake pads.

DBA (Disc Brakes Australia), Australia's largest brake manufacturer, has been producing unique quality products for racing and road use for decades.

In addition to weight reduction, these brake discs also have the following advantages:

Reduction in fuel consumption and therefore verifiable CO2 savings.
Improved thermal conductivity reduces thermal distortion and minimises brake rubbing
Higher load capacity
Reduction of noise or vibrations by decoupling the friction ring and disc cup
Improved driving characteristics by reducing the unsprung mass of the brake system (7KG at the front axle compared to standard)
The brake discs are internally ventilated and therefore have a better heat storage capacity due to their larger mass and cool down faster due to the air-flow channels. These radial channels are located between the two friction rings. The rotation of the brake disc creates a fan effect, which causes a constant draught of air through the brake disc.

The DBA brake pads improve the braking performance considerably as they offer a higher coefficient of friction - the result is 20-40% higher braking performance as well as a significantly higher resistance to fading than with conventional standard replacement brake pads. In addition, the pads are virtually dust-free due to the Kevlar ceramic compound!
